Brown Sound, the range is the brain child of Johnee Guitar a revolutionary situationist, socialite and all around renaissance man.  You might have seen him in many Jean Luc Godard films, or William Klein photographs.  He started Brown Sound in 1968 after the riots in the Sorbonne.  Johnee passed the line down to two men, Charlie and Rob.  They have been collaborating in various art projects and professional ventures for over ten years now, after meeting in art school.  Brown Sound is more than just the two of them; Brown Sound is a collaboration with musicians, situationists ( K town possee, Sea Horse Liberation Army) artists (The Rifle Gallery) and even artificial intelligence developers (The Benington Kids).  We are working to create more than clothing.  BROWN SOUND IS A MUSEUM FOR AND BY POP VULTURES.

Brown Sound’s mission is to make clothing that suits the day’s war, nights of love life style.  Their designs are influenced by the proletariat, military cuts; warn in a rock and roll tradition.  Did they say rock n’ roll?  They should have just said a Men at Work tradition.
