LeTigre French for the word tiger, Le Tigre first prowled into the international fashion scene in the late 70’s. America’s response to Lacoste, Le Tigre became popular in the late 80’s, and late 90’s. Back in the day Le Tigre was the “it” brand; celebrities from Chamberland, LL Cool J and even Ronal Reagan sported the tiger. Le Tigre built it’s name on a unique line of polos that made the preppy look fly. In 2003, the brand reemerged with a larger logo and an updated catalog showcasing the many ways to rock their nouveau classics- Urban Latino 2006 |
